I'd like to begin by thanking all of you for your patience regarding the recent changes we made to the ranking system. Thanks to your input over these past few days, we have done some research and discovered unexpected results from the new ranking system. We therefore decided to go back to the previous ranking system until these problems are fixed – effective immediately. This should be reflected in your videos' ranks over the next few hours.
Metacafe will always continue to improve its ranking mechanism so that it would benefit the entire community – producers and video consumers alike. With your feedback – be it positive or negative – you are helping us create a better product, and so I thank you for all of your patience, understanding, and most of all help in this issue as well as others.
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused all of you, and I would like to stress how important it is that we receive this feedback from you. Any time you see something wrong – let us know. Even if it is a small thing – like updating the FAQ page (thanks Sigung!) We are counting on all of you to keep us aware of any problems that may come up in the future, so that we can resolve them as quickly as possible.
