Hey Metaholics, we want your help! As video creators, all of you use a variety of different products to help produce what you submit to Metacafe. Whether it’s a video editing program, 3D software, a stock audio service, a video camera, or even a tripod, producers will inevitably need to know what is worth their money and what isn’t.

With that in mind, we’d love your help reviewing the products that you use. The Community Reviews forum has a list to get you started. If you’ve used the product, open a thread with the name of the product in the title and write down your thoughts. Is it easy to use? Too expensive? Not enough features? Write down anything you can think of that would help others make a decision when purchasing.

This is just a small list to get you started. You can see many more items to review in the Resources section and you’re always welcome to start a thread on something we haven’t included. The point is to help other Metacafe users, so the more you write the better off everyone is.

When we have enough information, we’ll compile your posts into a review in the Resources section. And don’t worry; everyone we feature will get a link to their channel.

If you want to write about a new product, give the forums a quick search first to make sure someone else hasn't started a thread already. To keep things neat and organized, please title your threads as follows: Type of Program: Program Name (Video Editor: Apple iMovie).

Thanks everyone!

The thing is, we don't want to hear just from professionals- it's the opposite! It's those of you who don't really have tons of experience that we want to hear from so you can give advise to others without tons of experience (otherwise they wouldn't need recommendations!)
