Hi guys,

I'd like to give y'all a quick update about a few changes we've made to the site. First of all, and probably most importantly, we have implemented email verification. This means that from now on, anyone who registers will need to verify their email address. Hopefully this will clean up our site just a little more (and by the way, have y'all noticed how almost all the spam is gone now that we've implemented the new spam filters?).

Also, we have added another section to Today catalog. You can now browse videos that were Recently Popular. These are videos from the past few days that have a high rank, as well as some Metacafe classics from before. If a video is released to Recently Popular, it will NOT appear on the Highest Rated pages since it is a video that has been previously released, but it is a second chance to see videos you may have missed the first time, or liked a lot and would love to see again. Before you ask, the videos are randomly selected by our system and not by staff recommendations.

We have also added a new button to the footer - the Podcasts are back! You can now receive Metacafe's top videos to your iPod!

Finally, we have slightly modified the location of the related links on videos. Now they appear within the box beneath the video for faster and clearer access.

Hi everybody,

That's my first post, and I'm very interested in podcast since I own an iPod an it's really cool to watch videos while traveling (I use to spend about 2 hours a day in train... ).

Is there any way to have a podcast for a search so I can have a lot of "funny", "soccer" or "animals" videos in my ipod?
Or is there any way to have a podcast with a choosen video?
Are you planning to have something like this?

Welcome to the forums! At the moment, we have the podcast that can be accessed by the footer on any page of Metacafe. At the moment, you can receive RSS feeds of particular searches, but not Podcasts.
