Does this happen randomly, or does the window appear when you do a specific action? (like watching a video, commenting, downloading videos, etc.)

The error happens exclusively when the Metacafe Pro program tries to load comments. If something does not have any comments attached it will not generate the error. This error did not occur with Explorer 7, only after the update to version 8.

Vista 64
Explorer 8
Metacafe Pro 1.4.20.0

I have been having the same problem.

Vista updated to Explorer 8 by it's self some time ago.

Problem happened much later.

Also I use FireFox not Explorer.

Does anyone know if MetaCafe is working on this problem?

The same problem has been happening to me too, since the upgrade to IE8.

Please work on fixing this pronto, or I will uninstall MetaCafe.

Our team is still working on a fix, but I'm hearing it involves a complicated conflict between our application and IE8. I'll try to keep pushing for a fix for you guys.
