Hello Everyone,

Some observant Producers have already noticed that we launched a new "Review" tab a few days ago, which essentially expands our current, somewhat-under-the-radar video review process from the Metacafe Pro application to the web.

Our panel of around 80,000 volunteers review every video that's submitted to Metacafe, determine whether or not it's suitable for the Metacafe audience, rate it one a five-star scale, and make sure that it has the right rating, country/language setting, and categories. Our panel of reviewers is crucial to maintaining the quality of content on Metacafe.

By expanding video review to the web, we're making the review process more accessible, interactive, and fun! Reviewers can now see who else has reviewed a video, if and why other reviewers flagged a video as "not suitable," and how their ratings stack up against the rest of the reviewer community.

You can find out more about the video review process, try out the demo, and sign up to become a reviewer here.

And here are some initial feedback and discussions from the Producers on the new Review process --

Let us know what you think about video review -- both the current one on the Metacafe Pro app, as well as the new one on the web. We are continually making improvements and updates. And if you find a bug please report it here as well.
