Hey everyone,
Efrat and I made a few changes to the forums today. We added two new forums to the Metaholics' Corner: Duplicates and Favorite Metacafe Videos. We also removed the General forum.
The Duplicates forum is your way to alert us to duplicate videos. Our content team will keep track of what you report here and act accordingly. Some of you know that we had had this forum in the past. We took it down for a while, but decided to bring it back now.
The Favorite Metacafe Videos forum is a forum dedicated specifically to sharing videos (whether Producer Rewards or not).
Finally, we decided to remove the General forum because it had fallen out of use and was taken over by pesky spammers.
We have some more excellent changes coming up for the forums that we're sure you'll like. Stay tuned!
Before you start a new thread, try using the search feature or Help Center. You will truly be amazed at how well it works for finding your answer. Have you fully read the Producer Rewards FAQ's and Metacafe's T&C? Chances are you’re NOT the only one with this question. Please note that for speedy responses, account & submission problems should be handled through the Contact Us form in the Help Center.
You know, I think it was better with the General forum full of spam and nobody bothering looking at it. Now it's gone, they've spilled out into the other forums.

Looks like you were right Atomic Shrimp, and we decided to bring General back temporarily. One of the other features we're developing is a way to prevent spammers from joining the forums. Hopefully this will be ready soon -- at which point we'll remove General permanently.
